James Woller is president of Pax-Fiendos Management Services Inc. His company provides management and administrative services with project support. The primary service of the company is providing administrative and technical 360 degree feedback processes.
Prior to his move to Canada, James owned and operated Imperial Lawn and Land Inc., a lawn and landscaping business. At its height the company ran 2 full crews and was maintaining over 135 lawns a week. This success was obtained through mergers and a massive new marketing campaign in 1998. James sold the company in 1999, but was able to take with him many valuable lessons concerning business and leadership.
In 2002 James was hired by the Kelowna school district to design and teach a leadership course to youth ages 15 to 18, which was accredited and approved by the school board. The course, “Discover the Leader in You” was an experiential based program, focused on self discovery and character development. Participants learned the importance of self-awareness, personal mastery and the necessity of networks, in the context of leadership development.
James served as President of the Student Association at Trinity Western University. As President, James’ overhauled the Council’s financial structure, centralizing 26 budgets into 9. He also formulated, wrote and implemented additions to Council’s governing documents, including major changes in the Senate, Club structure, finances, department structure, new positions and job descriptions. As part of the realignment to the Council, James created a service Department that was responsible for bringing a shuttle to campus for students, provided tutoring and established an online used textbook store that sold over $10,000 its first year and is now Council’s first and only revenue generating operation.
James is an avid traveler who engages diverse cultures, in order to learn more about personal behavior in a cultural context. He has spent time in Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Singapore, Nepal, Morocco, Spain, Egypt, Israel and Jordan.
In 2006 James will spend a significant amount of time in Swaziland, Africa. He will be working with counseling AIDS orphans, helping them develop life skills, resiliency and leadership. He will also be working with an AIDS awareness program within the public school system, in order to bring more understanding of the disease, to children.
James graduated from Trinity Western University with a BA in International Affairs with a concentration on Economic Development.
