A year ago, when I was first was introduced to Dr. Elizabeth Hynd, director of the Hope Centre in Manzini, I was overcome with excitement for the work that is being done in Swaziland.

Together, a team of us are establishing and creating projects/internships that will connect and network people with a willing heart to be involved with the vital need in Swaziland. Our vision and mission is to address the multiple needs of HIV/AIDS orphaned children, from basic needs to education. We also want to further promote AIDS awareness and prevention for the many other orphans who have been fortunate and not been infected.

CURRENT PROJECTS

  • Teaching in the New Hope Centre orphanage
  • Assisting in the design, management and implementation of an AIDS awareness program for public schools
  • Assisting doctors in clinics, children’s homes and hospitals
  • Aiding the growth of multiple economic projects, which are in their first stages for the sustainable development of the children’s homes
